Soffit NestStop®
Our main product ‘NestStop™’ stops birds nesting at their preferred site - right up at the apex (Eaves) however, a number of our customers have been looking for a product to stop nest building along other areas of a house.
In most cases, if they can’t build at the apex, they simply go away in search of another site. However, some homeowners have experienced nest building along the soffit either on the gables or along the front or rear of their house.
Soffit NestStop™ solves this problem by working on the same principle as NestStop™. The principle is simple - if the birds can’t grip the wall they can’t build.
How does it work?
Soffit NestStop®, made from clear plastic and in lengths of 55cm, is simply screwed to the soffit. These lengths are clipped together on the bottom edge to keep them all in line. (Screws and clips are supplied)
Soffit NestStop™ is 12.5cm from top to bottom which means birds can’t grip right up close to the corner (right angle) where they want to build.
If your walls are painted, Soffit NestStop™ is easily removed when repainting. Simply screw back in place when painting is complete.
Being made from clear plastic, Soffit NestStops are almost invisible therefore,, do not adversely effect the look of your home.
Soffit NestStops are sold in packs of 6 or 12 covering 3.30 metres or 6.60 metres

The clear plastic covings are held together at the bottom with a clear plastic jointing strap, to keep them in a straight line.

INSTALLATION
Soffit NestStop is very easy to fit - simply screw to soffit - two screws per unit. Fit jointing strap as shown to hold units in line - job done!
Never remove a nest when birds are in residence - best time is winter months or any time before the problem arises. It is actually illegal to remove a nest while in use.

History of NestStop®
NestStop was first put on the market in 2012, and since then many 1000s have ben supplied to customers all over the British isles and europe.
The product, invented by Cecil McFarland, Northern Ireland, has enjoyed outstanding success from the start.
At the outset, Invest Northern Ireland (Department of Enterprise, Trade and Investment) were a great help with the expertise and guidance needed to bring the product to market. Their help with the patent application was also very useful and appreciated.
